It is considered one of the historical pyramids located in Dahshur. It is the third largest Egyptian pyramid after the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre in Giza. It is the "Red Pyramid", which is considered one of the three pyramids built by King Sneferu, and the highest among the pyramids of Dahshur.
When you visit the Red Pyramid, you can enter it through the entrance on the north side, which leads you to a corridor, then descends to another portico to a room with a roof built in the style of an inverted staircase, and then another corridor that leads to a second room in the middle of the pyramid directly at the west of that chamber, and to the south of it, another passage appears to a third chamber, which is believed to have been the burial chamber of the pyramid.
