Amr El-Kady, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, explained that Egypt was one of the top tourist destinations that were searched for on the Wego search engine and trips, compared to other countries that were searched on the same site, noting that individual travelers had the largest share in Searches for the Egyptian tourist destination with a growth rate of 79% compared to the same period in 2021, followed by families.

The CEO of the authority indicated that this campaign was launched within the framework of cooperation between the authority and the search engine Wego, which is one of the largest search and trip engines in the Middle East and North Africa, with the aim of promoting the Egyptian tourist destination and attracting more tourists to visit Egypt throughout the year, pointing out that This campaign was launched in three phases at different times to coincide with the times preferred by tourists in the Arab market to take tourist trips.
